Camillia Fayyazi is a Director of the Mintz Group's New York office, where she specializes in overseeing and conducting due-diligence investigations across a variety of sectors, with a focus on transaction diligence for institutional investors and financial institutions. She has primarily worked with venture capital firms, private equity firms, investment firms, regulatory organizations, healthcare companies, and technology start-ups, and has handled diligence for a variety of deal stages, including pre-transaction investigations and post-transaction assessments and monitoring.
Camillia joined the New York office in 2018 as an investigator and has since led or contributed to hundreds of investigative projects across the financial, technology, legal, media, and healthcare sectors. Her work has included executive and transaction due-diligence, asset tracing, source inquiries, fraud and insider trading investigations, comprehensive social media reviews, and class-action litigation support. She has led teams of investigators on complex projects involving public-records analysis, international research, and interviews. She has also contributed to the firm’s business development efforts and played a key role in training and mentoring both new and established staff members. Prior to the Mintz Group, she worked in a particle physics laboratory on Long Island.
Camillia holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, where she majored in English and American literature and minored in chemistry. She has volunteered with multiple events and organizations, including the New York City Marathon, World Science Festival and New York Television Festival. She also speaks Farsi (Persian) and French.
