Anne Manolakas is a Managing Director, Of Counsel, and Head of the San Francisco office at Mintz Group. A key leader in the firm’s global Executive Diligence practice, Anne specializes in people, partners, and deal vetting—helping clients make informed decisions about executive and board appointments, business partnerships, and high-stakes transactions.
Anne advises a diverse portfolio of clients across the financial services, real estate, retail, technology, and entertainment sectors. With professional experience across North America and Europe, she brings a global perspective to each engagement, supporting corporations, investment firms, universities, and other organizations in reputational risk management.
In addition to her investigative work, Anne is part of Mintz Group’s legal team, advising on compliance matters related to the execution of background checks and investigations—including data privacy, consumer protection, and professional ethics.
Anne joined Mintz Group in 2013 and has since conducted a broad range of investigations across multiple practice areas. Prior to Mintz, she practiced labor and employment law in New York and New Jersey and previously held roles in human resources, providing her with a unique lens on workplace dynamics and regulatory compliance.
She holds a JD from Cornell University, an MLitt in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews, and a BA in Fine Art from the University of California, Los Angeles. Anne is certified in AICP-E and GDPR DPP, and is an active member of the New York Bar, SHRM, and PBSA.
