Ashley Dawson is a Director in Mintz Group’s Executive and Transaction Diligence Practices, based out of the London office. She specializes in managing cross-border investigations for executive and board appointments, as well as pre-investment integrity and corporate risk due diligence. She also manages complex investigations in partnership with law firms, employers and private clients, supporting them in civil and commercial disputes, and cross-border asset-tracing. She is skilled at identifying witnesses and/or sources and obtaining their cooperation with the investigative process; and conducting on-the-ground source interviews. Ashley joined Mintz in 2021, following its acquisition of Bishop Group, where she specialized in corporate due diligence and strategic intelligence.
Prior to joining the Mintz Group, Ashley was as a Senior Behavioural Language Analyst at a leading investment management firm in London. She analyzed corporate communications for indicators of deception and risk, which contributed to the firm’s investment decisions.
Ashley is fluent in French, having lived in France, and earning a BA in French and Linguistics from the University of Leeds, followed by a Master’s degree in Forensic Linguistics from Cardiff University, where she analyzed written and spoken communication in legal and criminal investigations and proceedings.
